Hello and welcome to Team Seven Tuesday. My name is Laurel and I’m a part of Team Seven in Hesitant Heroes.
If you’ve read Hesitant Heroes, you know that I’m a ballerina and I am considered the perfect one.
But I am not perfect.
I tried really hard. In 2062 we have something called beauty enhancers.
I have had a lot of surgeries at the beauty enhancers trying to make myself perfect.
It didn’t work.
No matter what I look like on the outside I will never be perfect.
I felt like I was wearing a mask. Trying to please everyone.
I had no idea who the real Laurel was.
What about you? You live in 2022 but is it really that different from 2062?
Do you follow all the latest trends even if you don’t like them? Have you colored your hair every color on the planet? Looks great on a mermaid but not so much on you.
It’s not wrong to play around with your hair or makeup.
Just remember that your outer appearance is not YOU.
I didn’t know that until I met Jordan and she told me about Jesus.
God loves us just the way we are.
He made me to be me and you to be you.
So, let’s accept ourselves and let God mold us into the person He wants us to be.
I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please comment below.

So true, Laurel! As the old saying goes, beauty is only skin deep. Proverbs 31:30 says, “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Be that woman!
Thanks so much Tracy for stopping by. You are so right.
